Hello everyone and welcome to our small blog! 

We are E & J, a couple who has been together for over six years. We have been in a long-distance relationship for the last three years, first during our master studies and then for work. E is currently living and working in the EU bubble in Brussels, while J works for a big tech company in Dublin.

Our relationship has been tested by distance on multiple occasions, with long-distance stints between Canada and Peru (6 months), Netherlands and Belgium (6 months), Denmark and Belgium (6 months) and now Brussels and Dublin (about a year). But through it all, we have found ways to make it work for us.

E is a 25-year-old from Spain, and J is a 26-year-old from Germany. We met during our bachelors in the Netherlands and lived in Berlin for a year. We have been through a lot together and we have learned a lot.

We started this blog to share our experiences of making long distance a success, share tips on how you can make it fun, communication strategies to keep the spark alive, and what helped us to build a loving relationship. We want to help others who are going through the same thing we are.
